Society for Ecological Restoration Announces New Journal

We at SER are proud to announce the upcoming publication of the first issue of a new journal, Restoration Ecology. This international, peer-reviewed quarterly journal will provide much-needed technical information about restoration, including:

SER's Board of directors formally brought the journal into existence at the 1991 meeting in Orlando in order to bring state-of-the-art information to its members and to the field. They chose Blackwell Scientific as the publisher, the esteemed William Miering of Connecticut College as the editor, and Edith B. Allen as co-editor. The editor of the journal is currently accepting papers for the ground-breaking first issue of this journal. Possible subjects include studies of interactions between organisms and their environment, as well as physical aspects important to restoration such as soils, water, air, and hydrologic functions.
